over breakfast my almost 14 year dd states that she would like to start wearing makeup. So sweet, a little sad but exciting for her and her growing up.So its off to the drugstore tonight

i have no qualms at all about her wearing makeup, its about the right age. She is smart and won't glop it on. I know this is pretty exciting, i mean who doesn't like a little makeup?

My oldest dd did the same thing. Then she wore it for a while and now she hardly wears any. Kaitie on the other hand, still wears too much. But your dd is so down to earth she will be so much like Shawna. It think it's the excitement of wearing it and that will wear off.
