I have some news about my mom. I will be hit and miss this week....yesterday my mom was taken by ambulance to the hospital. She had a mild heart attack and will undergo a couple procedures in the next couple of days. I will have my phone if anyone needs to get ahold of me. Heather you have my number and so does Shannen. You can also get ahold of Shannen at Life'sjourneyscrapbooking@yahoo.com A couple of my sisters should be here towards the end of the week to help out so until then it's going to be up to me. I'm here for about another hour or so but after that I'll be hard to reach except by phone...which I seen to be spending lot's of time on.
Anyway, it's been a difficult weekend and pretty scary too. |

I wish my sisters were here now. It's alot to handle on your own. She has alot going on right now.

Oh Gosh I am so Sorry you and your mom are going through this.. I know it has to be hard to deal with.. Wish there was something I can do to help but I know theres not. But I can pray for her so Thats what I will do..

Here's the latest. We're hoping totake my mom home tomorrow. They are keeping her today to tweak her medications. She had a good night last night and is able to eat again so she is getting better slowly. One of my sister's is here and another on the way Friday. So she has someone at all times right now. working on getting some care for her until she's recovered fully. So anyhow thanks for the hugs and prayers!!

I have my family Shannen... but thanks for offering.
My mom is a really private person and she would be really angry with me if I was telling everyone what was going on. It's just something I have to handle on my own with my sisters and brother and my husband.
It's funny I didn't realize how much like her I was, but I'm so private myself as is my hubby. He's really adament about his privacy. I try to keep family business and personal business to myself as much as I can. sometimes you just need to talk....that's why I think my hubby is really my best friend, we are so much alike. However I don't tell him everything that happens in my family. Not trying to be secretive but sometimes it's just so personal when it comes to my mom and sisters and brother.
He comes from a family that is very judgemental and I think I have learned that I am very protective of my family and will not have anyone judging them. The claws come out when someone speaks critically of them and I can turn into a mother cat. Once someone does that...I wash them out of my life forever. I'm very demanding when it comes to loyalty as is my hubby.
Funny how you notice things and traits you inherit. Sometimes it's a rude awakening. I'm my father's daughter..more like him than I am my mother but some of her traits are instilled in me too. She's more intense than I am.
I don't want to be vague but it's just me, so hopefully I don't offend anyone. |

After re-reading that post I hope I didn't offend anyone. I really appreciate the offer for help and support..I really do. I'm just one of those people who have to do it all on my own. I think it comes from being on my own at a young age. I've been handling things for so long that I'm stubborn that way.
Can't wait to get things back to normal!!
