So, I noticed a long while back that our neighbor man has been kinda MIA. I haven't seen him out and about at all and the other neighbor was doing his yard and everything for him. I saw his wife all the time coming home from work and getting her mail - but she never talked to me or said anything.

A little back story is that we have only been here 3 years and they are kinda to themselves and not really talkative.

So I noticed that their daughter was here and another car with an out of state tag today. Which is really odd - it is usually just the two of them and their cars.

Come to find out, he passed away on April 2nd. Sad NO idea!!!!!!! I feel so sad for her...he was only 59. I think he had been sick though - he was at a hospital in another city for some reason.

*sigh* Just makes me sad to think of her all alone in that house. I didn't really "know" him, but we have chatted with him off and on for whatever reason.

I wish I would have known.....

So sad! I lost my neighbor lady last summer...we were neighbors for 20 years. It was like losing a parent.

It's scary when they are all alone too. Hopefully she is healthy and has family not too far away.

You should go over and asked her if she needs anything, food, a shoulder, a valium?
I think I would get histerical if something happen to my DH, we are best friends and do everything together.
